Every year for the past 24 years Metro Vancouverites come into Vancouver to see the Celebration of Light Fireworks. This year, in honour of their 25th anniversary, Celebration of Light is setting off free Vancouver fireworks shows throughout Metro Vancouver every night from July 1-25.

The shows will be brief and are intended to build momentum for the Celebration of Light showdown which takes place July 25, July 29 and August 1.

The warm up fireworks shows will take place at iconic buildings like the Canada Place sails, Science World, Vancouver City Hall and the control tower at Vancouver International Airport. These locations will be lit up by pyrotechnics at 10 p.m. as a special tribute to the fireworks festival.  More details after the jump.
