Businesses across Vancouver are once again pushing the provincial government for more transportation options.

The Vancouver Board of Trade has released a survey and recommendations aimed at allowing ride-hailing services like Uber to operate in BC.

A recent survey of its members found that 80 per cent of businesses would like to see the government move forward and introduce regulations that would allow services such as Uber.

The popular ride-sharing app was driven out of Vancouver in 2012 by the provincial Transportation Board.

Last month, the provincial government released its Ride Sourcing in BC stakeholder engagement report, but Victoria has not given any timeline for a decision on allowing ride hailing services to operate in BC.
