The City of Vancouver announced today that the upgrades to the west side of the Burrard Bridge are complete.
The City is rehabilitating the bridge to improve safety and connections for people using the span from the Burrard-Pacific intersection.
The west side construction included a new sidewalk, southbound bike path, concrete railings, street lighting and means prevention fencing. Completion was anticipated for the end of February and finished on schedule.
This weekend the City moves their attention to east side construction with a focus on the south half of the bridge.
