Look out for a new menu concept and look from Mission Kits later this week.
Starting July 13th the core of a re-invigorated Mission will be a Northwest Pacific a la carte menu focused on the bounty and history of the region.
Top Chef All-Star Curtis Luk and Sommelier/Owner Chase MacLeod will continue to lead the charge of the nose-to-tail and root-to-tip food eatery but why the refresh?
During the process of filming Top Chef Canada All-Stars, Luk found himself further inspired by the exploration of foods and techniques driven by each guest’s unique geographical regions.
“I want to explore more of the rich history of this amazing region, while incorporating some of the indigenous cooking techniques and flavours this area has to offer. I really feel an a la carte menu along with family style shared plates best showcases this,” shared Chef Luk.
Sommelier MacLeod will continue to delight guests with Mission’s award-winning wine list and will be joined by Marc Smolinski, who is creating some of the city’s most innovative craft cocktails.
The team at Mission is inspired by the new look and direction of the menu. “It feels like we are opening a new restaurant and I am excited for past guests and new ones to come and experience the new Mission in Kits”, said Chef Luk.
Upon re-launch, Mission will be open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner and Saturday and Sunday for brunch.
