Air Canada has named Kitsilano’s Mak N Ming as one of Canada’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants.
Located on Yew Street, Mak N Ming came in at #4 and was the only B.C. restaurant on the list. It came in behind Quebec’s Batutto, Canis in Toronto, and Bar Von Der Fels in Calgary.
Earlier this year Two Kitsilano restaurants were named finalists with local favorite Cacao also being recognized. The nominations are put forward by notable individuals in the food industry across the country, including local experts such as chefs Vikram Vij and David Hawksworth.

Air Canada has a national panel of food experts, who nominate recently opened restaurants in their regions that they feel are worthy of notice.
