For a third year in a row, Mealshare will host its one-night fundraiser called Tonight for Tomorrow on
May 9th, a fundraiser that takes place at 35+ participating restaurants in Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa.
For every one dollar spent on dinner, one dollar will be donated to Mealshare to help them expand. This year in Vancouver, 18 restaurants are participating in Tonight for Tomorrow.
“Tonight for Tomorrow is an impactful way for diners to participate, create awareness, and provide support for Mealshare and the youth in need that we serve. It is not acceptable that 1 in 5 Canadian children live in poverty,” says Derek Juno, VP Business Development of Mealshare.
“We’re on a mission to end youth hunger in Vancouver and hope everyone will join us by dining out on May 9th, and inspire others to take action. This is the easiest and most delicious fundraiser you’ll ever participate in. Just eat. No child should go hungry.”
The Blenheim in Kitsilano is participating in Tonight for Tomorrow. Check out a complete list of Vancouver participants here.
