Once upon a time, our fine Kitsilano neighbourhood was nicknamed the “Haight-Ashbury of the north”.
Referring to, of course, the 1960s and 70s hippy hood of California’s San Francisco.
Now relive those gloriously laid-back and groovy times at the annual Khatsahlano Street Party – Vancouver’s largest free music and arts festival. And it’s coming to fill West 4th on Saturday, July 11th from 11:00am till 9:00pm, from Burrard to MacDonald Street.
Multiple stages will be showcasing more than 50 of Vancouver’s top musical performers.
And expect to see wonderful works by local artisans, unique street performers, a wide variety of food trucks, giveaways, entertainment for kids, beer gardens, special sales at local shops, and loads and loads of people watching.
