On August 4th, the museum will be hosting it’s second annual Fire & Light Fireworks Night fundraising gala.
“It’s going to be quite an event. All the grounds in front of us will be chock-o-block with people, and our guests will have private, front-row seats’, says Kurt von Hahn, marketing manager for the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
Fire & Light guests will enjoy an open-air gourmet dinner on Vancouver Maritime Museum’s picturesque terrace, which overlooks English Bay and downtown Vancouver.
The event offers guests the chance to enjoy the full fireworks experience in style.
Tickets are $175 each and include a gourmet, four-course buffet, dessert plus a glass of sparkling wine, accompanied by a top local dance band. You might just dance the night away on the terrace.
For guest’s convenience, guaranteed, reserved parking at the Vancouver Maritime Museum is available for early bird ticket buyers.
Live and silent auctions will be held at the event and all proceeds of Fire & Light will directly support the Vancouver Maritime Museum, it’s collections and it’s many educational and public programs.
