On Wednesday October 10th, Bluegrass Grammy nominee Claire Lynch will be at the Rogue Folk Club on West 10th with her band North, comprised of three of Canada’s finest bluegrass musicians.
North includes Joe Phillips (upright bass, backing vocals), Shane Cook (fiddle), and, Darrin Schott (mandolin, acoustic guitars, backing vocals).
Long-recognized and praised as a creative force in acoustic music, Claire Lynch is a pioneer who continually pushes the boundaries of the bluegrass genre.
Her career has been decorated with many accolades including three Grammy nominations, six International Bluegrass Music Association awards and the prestigious United States Artists Walker Fellowship. Her harmonies have graced the recordings of many stellar musicians.
