To help residents physically distance and mitigate the risk of COVID-19 to our communities, and to support economic recovery, the City of Vancouver has made ‘temporary’ changes to how we use our streets and public spaces as part of the Making Streets for People program.
Among the many elements of the program are ‘Slow Streets’ which has been successfully piloted in Kits Point.
Other initiatives include Pop-up Plazas, Temporary Patios, Sidewalk Widening, Room to Queue, and Room to Move.
Complete this short survey before September 7th to tell the City how you’re using these spaces and how they could be improved.
