West 4th’s Kitsilano Wine Cellar has applied to the City of Vancouver to expand the size of their store so that they can add beer and spirits to their liquor lineup.
The applicant is proposing to take down an interior wall of their current site and to grow the foot print.
Thanks to a policy change this summer the Liquor Cannabis Regulation Branch now permits wine license holders to apply to the province to convert their wine license to a retail store license that allows all types of product.
To accommodate the increased inventory Kitsilano Wine Cellar will be taking down an interior wall of their current site and expanding into the adjacent retail space occupied by Kit + Ace at 2235 West 4th Avenue.
