Back in March Kitsilano culinary legend Bishop’s Restaurant announced it would be closing its doors after an impressive 35 years of operation. The eatery shared that August 1, 2020, was slated to be its last day of service.
Months after the first closure announcement, Bishop’s revealed that it would, in fact, be in business until the end of 2020, and now, it turns out they are keeping things going.
Bishop’s confirmed in a post on Instagram that the restaurant would continue to operate “a little longer” due to the demand they’ve seen from the public.
No new closing date was shared, but the eatery did confirm that staff would be taking a break from January 1 to 13 before re-opening the restaurant on January 14, 2021.
