The City of Vancouver has announced that Kitsilano pool will reopen on May 22nd with reduced maximum capacities, in alignment with new COVID-19 protocols.
Traditionally Vancouver’s outdoor pools open on the Victoria Day long weekend, so there is a sense of normalcy to this annual announcement.
Last year the famous outdoor pool didn’t open until July 13th. Not new to accolades, Kitsilano pool was named one of the world’s best places for swimming by CNN last year.
Similar to last year, advanced online registration will be required and is scheduled to open on May 19th.
