West 4th Avenue’s Bimini’s is a Kitsilano landmark.
Long-time Kitsilano residents may recall that Bimini’s was destroyed by fire in 2007 and sat boarded up and vacant for four years until it was reopened by the Donnelly Group in 2011 who operated the pub until 2015.
After a five year hiatus the Donnelly Group is back in Kits. After taking back control of Bimini’s in February of 2020, the restaurant group closed shop to start a renovation only to be suddenly halted one month later by the Covid-19 pandemic.
After chipping away at building improvements over seven months, Bimini’s re-opened as Bimini’s Beer Hall in November 2020 with new challenging Public Health Orders to navigate.
Fast forward one year, and as dining restrictions relax, Bimini’s is ready to keep you well-fed and entertained from 4pm to late Monday thru Friday and from 12pm brunch to close on the weekends.
The new Bimini’s Beer Hall features a brighter open main room with with a beer hall vibe, an upper mezzanine ideal for dinner and drinks, a lower lounge arcade, a brand new line up of 24 beers, a back alley patio, 14 new TV’s & the same massive big screen, along with a fresh new commitment to elevating their food program.
If you’re a fan of theme nights, check out Trivia Mondays, Karaoke Tuesdays, DJs every Friday, Saturday and Long Weekend Sundays and all major sports events on the big screen.
Be sure to time your visit to Bimini’s to take advantage of Happy Hour in the afternoon from 4pm to 6pm, Monday thru Friday, and daily features.
