Kitsilano’s newest retailer is celebrating their opening by taking over a block of West 4th Avenue.
Adidas officially opened the doors to the first ever Canadian TERREX store at 2235 West 4th Avenue (in the space previously occupied but Kit + Ace) in late December.
adidas TERREX is adidas’ outdoor-specific brand that enables greater accessibility and inclusivity in nature through gear that inspires outdoor adventure – be it climbing, trail running, mountain biking or enjoying a day on the snowy mountains.
As part of the store’s opening celebration, TERREX will be building a “Hike on 4th” activation in the parking lane on the north side of West 4th Avenue between Yew and Vine streets.
This new instalment will simulate an outdoor hiking environment for shoppers to test products and will result in parking restrictions and temporary lane closures for a week.
Parking will be restricted on the north side of 2200 block on West 4th Avenue from Yew to Vine streets from January 17-23 and the north westbound traffic lane will be closed January 17-18 and January 23 from 7am to 7pm.
