This Saturday, November 16th the Vancouver Maritime Museum is offering Vancouverites free admission to the museum (donations are encouraged).

Embark on a journey of exploration and education at this family-friendly OPEN HOUSE presented by the Vancouver Maritime Museum and The Blue Cabin.

Weavers and culture-bearers from the Squamish Nation, Chief Janice George and Willard Buddy Joseph, will be displaying their work on Salish weaving traditions.

Engage in various activities such as listening to enchanting storytelling sessions, colouring crafts, learning about The Blue Cabin floating artist residency and take part in various activities.

The museum is delighted to welcome Coast Salish artist and storyteller Eliot White-Hill, who will share more about his upcoming children’s storybook focusing on Salish wool dogs and the Snuneymuxw community.

Whether you’re a curious child or an adult, this free event offers something for everyone to enjoy.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is located at 1905 Ogden Avenue.
