Tacofino is starting 2025 with a community-driven initiative aimed at supporting mental health services. Partnering with Strange Fellows Brewing, Tacofino will raise funds for the Coast Mental Health Foundation throughout January.
From January 6 to January 31, $2 from each purchase of Strange Fellows’ NEVERtheLESS Non-Alcoholic Pale Ale and Tacofino’s selection of mocktails will be donated to the Foundation. The fundraiser is available at all Tacofino locations including the one at 1909 West 4th Avenue in Kitsilano.
“We’re big supporters of the amazing work Coast Mental Health Foundation does for our community,” said Jamie Cholack, Head of Food & Beverage at Tacofino. “We’ve also seen increasing interest from our guests for non-alcoholic drink options, so we’re excited to tie this growing demand into a fundraiser that makes a difference.”
Strange Fellows Brewing’s Nick Black emphasized the partnership’s importance. “Collaborating with Tacofino and Coast Mental Health Foundation aligns perfectly with our mission to offer inclusive choices and raise awareness around substance use. Our NEVERtheLESS Non-Alcoholic Pale Ale is a flavour-packed, full-bodied beer that doesn’t compromise on taste or enjoyment.”
Tacofino’s mocktail lineup includes the Coconut Mint Collins, Tropical Lemonade, and House Made Ginger Beer, with selections varying by location.
