Launched in 2011, the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Fest is the first city-wide festival of its kind in the world.
From January 18th to February 14th, the festival celebrates its 15th year with Vancouver’s top chocolatiers, bakeries, cafés, and gelato makers serving up bold and creative takes on hot chocolate.
If you’re in Kitsilano, don’t miss these standout creations:
49th Parallel Coffee & Lucky’s Doughnuts – Treat yourself to the Golden Cocoa, a turmeric-infused dark hot chocolate spiced with cardamom and cinnamon. It’s perfectly paired with a mini brioche doughnut filled with chocolate pastry cream and dipped in turmeric white chocolate ganache.
Beaucoup Bakery – Indulge in the Charlie’s Peanut Butter Hug, a silky milk chocolate hot chocolate blended with honey, creamy peanut butter, and a dash of cinnamon. It comes with a salted peanut nougat and a peanut butter sandwich cookie filled with chocolate-peanut buttercream.
Looking for more ways to sip and savour? Be sure to check out these other Kitsilano participants:
