Looking for a fun and educational family outing? The Vancouver Maritime Museum and Oarlock and Sail Wooden Boat Club are inviting the community to a free Open House on Saturday, March 15th, from 11am to 3pm.
The Oarlock and Sail Wooden Boat Club is a club for people who enjoy building, repairing, sailing, talking about, thinking about, and simply messing about in small wooden boats. The club operates out of a floating boat shed at the Vancouver Maritime Museum’s Heritage Harbour.
This by-donation event offers a range of engaging activities, including storytelling sessions, colouring crafts, and a hands-on look at boat building. Whether you’re a child eager to explore or an adult interested in maritime history, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
