Steeve Raye brings a touch of France to Kitsilano

Today Steeve Raye Pastry opens at 2836 West 4th Avenue and we should all be excited.

Working in the fine tradition of French pastisserie, Raye will offer customers an exquisite selection of fresh pastries, beverages and specialty lunch items. From delicate, buttery croissants, to airy sweet macarons and succulent pain au chocolat, Raye plans to showcases his unique flair and dedication to quality and authenticity.

But who is Steeve Raye?

Son of Brigitte and Alain Raye, of the award-winning French bistro La Regalade in West Vancouver. Steeve developed his talent on the international stage, where he gained invaluable experience working in Michelin starred restaurants across Europe. His work along side such greats as Joe Robuchon in London and Olivier Bajard in Perpignan, has provided Vancouver’s newest pastry chef with savoir-faire and an unwavering commitment to excellence, which he reflects daily in his creations.

I, for one, will be visiting Steeve’s new pastry shop soon.
