Vine Street Stage – Featuring original acts of the 60’s including the Melodic Energy Commission, Kentish Steele, Lee Stephens, and Ross Barrett, plus local favourites, Brain Child. Move to the grove with The Falcons, and sing along to the best of the Beatles with the Fab Fourever.
Cypress Street Stage – All the 60’s songs to sing along to featuring the Burke St Band, Young & the Restless Band, Wager, the United Empire Loyalists, and Slowpoke & The Smoke with a tribute to Ruben and the Jets. Special appearance by THE POINTED STICKS, Vancouver’s top punk band in the late 70’s and The Unknown Soldiers, celebrating the timeless music of The Doors.
Learn to Macrame – Learn the basic knots and take away your very own bracelet … groovy!
Car Show & Shine – Over 100 classic cars of the 60’s including Cobras, ‘stangs, Woodies and Minis, with displays, activities, and more, between Arbutus and Burrard … can you dig it?
Kid Zone – Entertainment for the kids, courtesy of Kits Neighbourhood House. Face painting, chalk art, games and the magic of the ART EXPRESS! Between Vine and Balsam … oh, boy!
“You don’t have to be a star, baby” Talent Search – Okay, so it’s not ‘Kits Idol’, but probably a lot more fun! Be a part of the show, and sing your heart out! You could win $500 Cash!!
Fashion A-Go-Go Show – Showcasing today’s hottest fashions, hair and makeup trends. Coordinated by Toni & Guy Salon.
Welly Wanger – Enter to throw your wellies (translation – rubber boots!) in a contest of strength with proceeds going to the SPCA. Hosted by Gumdrops Wet Weather Boutique.

Site Plan / Road Closures – To accommodate all of the activities, West 4th will be closed to traffic on Saturday, August 16th from 7am to 8pm between Balsam and Burrard. Alleys will be left open for parking and/or through traffic and all private parking lots will be accessible. Arbutus will remain open to cross traffic and manned by police, but buses will be re-routed along Cornwall & Broadway between Burrard & Macdonald.
