janelle Author Janelle has been a Kitsilano resident for eight years and currently works and lives in the neighbourhood. Originally from a farming community in Saskatchewan, she is keenly interested in building community and food security. At Kitsilano.ca she shares tidbits on the hyper-local food scene, seasonal recipes and community events. By day, Janelle is a lawyer who works as the Director of Programming at the Pacific Business and Law Institute, a legal education company based in Kitsilano. She is also an Adjunct Professor at UBC. She is currently on maternity leave and looking forward to spending a little more time at the beach and hanging out in the neighbourhood with her family.
